“Taken” movie

I saw “Taken” this past Saturday. It was a good thriller, and (to me) a great vehicle for Liam Neeson after those awful Jar-Jar Binks movies. The movie is fairy violent, and had a distressing underpinning – women being kidnapped into sex slavery. This background eliminates any chance of sympathy for the bad guys. That’s OK (from a cinematic point-of-view), because the film doesn’t set itself up as an epic Good v. Evil struggle.

I spent $26 to see the movie. A cheap date, right? Well, I went single-o. I did go a bit crazy at the concession stand…
