An art museum makes a great venue for a first date, in my recent experience. Probably best combined with some other activity though, as some of us get a bit passionate about the whole art experience.

(It probably helps if the two people like each other. Great art is a supplement & catalyst, not a substitute for good chemistry.)

  3. May depend upon the museum or what’s showing. Unless you’re courting Silence of the Lambs’ Buffalo Bob, the Mapplethorpe exhibits may not work.

  4. We saw “Paint Made Flesh” at the Phillips Collection. Some of the paintings were macabre, but some were were good date-viewing material.
